Lubbock man accused of choking pregnant woman until she passed out

LUBBOC K, Texas — Timikyo Chadwick, 27, was arrested and accused of choking a pregnant woman to the point she passed out, a police report obtained by EverythingLubbock.com on Monday revealed.

Chadwick was arrested near 10th Street and Ute Avenue on February 2.

According to the police report, the victim said her TV was accidentally broken and Chadwick did not believe the story about what happened. The report said the victim told police Chadwick “got angry” and started squeezing her throat with both hands. The victim, who was about six months pregnant at the time, said she passed out and tried to leave after she woke up. Chadwick went outside and tried to drag the woman to his vehicle, according to the report.

After the victim got away from Chadwick, he left in his vehicle. The victim said she believed Chadwick took her phone, debit card and food stamp card when he left. After the assault, the victim said her head was hurting and she was having a hard time breathing. She was taken to the hospital by EMS.
