Suspect left scene after shooting man’s leg in Lubbock County, authorities said

LUBBOCK, Texas — A man suffered non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting in the 1800 block of 114th Street on Tuesday afternoon.

The call came in around 2:30 p.m. According to the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office, Tomas Rivera, 32, was found with a gunshot wound to the leg. The suspect left before deputies arrived, LCSO said.
