LUBBOCK, Texas — The Texas Department of Transportation announced on Sunday, that paving operations to place the final road surface on eastbound 19th Street (US 62/SH 114), from University to Memphis Avenue will begin on Monday.

Crews will start work by milling uneven areas of the road before placing the final asphalt surface. Weather permitting, crews are expected to start paving operations on Tuesday, according to TxDOT.
