LUBBOCK, Texas (NEWS RELEASE) – Investigators with the Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit are asking for the public’s help identifying two robbery suspects. Officers were initially called to the 2600 block of Avenue Q at 7:10 a.m. on June 22nd for a report of a robbery. Through the initial course of the investigation, it appears the male suspect entered the store and began verbally assaulting the clerk. Shortly after, the female suspect also entered the store and began taking property before leaving the store. It appears another individual inside the store tried to stop the female suspect from leaving, at which time the male suspect physically assaulted that individual.
