Lubbock Habitat for Humanity is seeking volunteers as it prepares to kick off its annual week-long Blitz Build starting Saturday, Sept. 7.
The Lubbock non-profit organization will host a kick-off event at 10 a.m. Monday at their construction site located at 3324 E. Dartmouth St., according to Lubbock Habitat CEO Christy Reeves. The Blitz will run until Sept. 14th at noon.Local volunteers with a variety of skillsets will be building two homes in eight days.
