LUBBOCK, Texas — Adelante Autos, an automotive dealership, will host a grand opening weekend on Friday, Sept. 13, Saturday, Sept. 14 and Monday, Sept. 16 at 18702 FM 1730.
The dealership is a locally Hispanic-owned business that plans to have “great deals” on all vehicles in stock, according to a press release.
The grand opening weekend will kick off Friday at 12:00 p.m. with Sweet Cheeks Barbecue. Followed by a ribbon cutting at 12:30 p.m. hosted by the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce. From 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Mariachi Tesoro will perform and DJ Arthur will close out the event with music until 9:00 p.m. Adelante said the event on Friday is free to the public all day.

On Saturday, Adelante encourages the community to bring their kids for a day of family fun. From 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. the dealership will have bounce houses and face painting. Sweet Cheeks Barbecue and DJ Arthur will return to provide food and entertainment.
The dealership will celebrate El Diez y Seis de Septiembre on Monday, commemorating Mexico’s Independence from Spain in 1810. Western Bank will provide burgers.
