BYU’s Jenna Hutchins (women’s) and TTU’s Ernest Cheruiyot (men’s) collected Big 12 Runner of the Week honors for the third week of the season. Hutchins won the Autumn Classic for the second straight year in her first race of the season. The sophomore from Johnson City, Tennessee was the first of eight Cougars to cross the finish line in the top 10 with her time of 15:17.88. She is the first Cougar from the women’s team to earn a Conference weekly award.
