LUBBOCK, Texas — One Guy from Italy is hosting a fundraiser on Wednesday after the loss of own of their own, Lydia Hernandez, 55, who tragically passed away after a shooting at Mackenzie Park on September 10.
The fundraiser will be available at both locations during lunch and dinner on September 25.

“Come and dine with us, or carry out, and we’re going to give a percentage of the sales to the family,” Gabe from One Guy from Italy on 50th Street said on KLBK’s Trends and Friends .
Gabe said Hernandez had worked with One Guy from Italy for many years. He said the news of her passing was heartbreaking, and the crew knew they needed to do something.

“She meant so much to us,” Gabe said. “She was a lovely woman, and we really miss her.”
Hernandez’s son, Isaha Rivera, described her as someone who was willing to help anyone in need. Isaha’s brother, Ismael, said their mother was willing to help someone in need, even if she was struggling.
