Well, I knew it was no cakewalk for ladies around here, but sheesh!. There’s just no denying it, Lubbock is a very male-oriented town. I guess we could start by saying that Lubbock is dominated by males sports, male preachers, and male business owners. The ladies have had some inroads in politics, but even that area is still male dominant. All of that is just a cursory look at the city from someone who lives here, we’re about to dig into some facts that are much uglier than anything I just mentioned.
