Cincinnati traveled to Lubbock, Texas over the weekend for its toughest road test of the season, taking on Head Coach Joey McGuire and the Texas Tech Red Raiders. It was a sold-out, black-out crowd for Texas Tech. The Red Raiders wore all black while the Bearcats wore black helmets, white jerseys and white pants. Cincinnati won the coin toss and decided to defer to the second half, giving the ball to the Red Raiders to start the game.
