LUBBOCK, Texas — Justin Aleman, 26, and Joziah Aleman, 23, were indicted for murder and cruelty to non-livestock animals on Tuesday in connection with the double murder at Mackenzie Park in September.
Lubbock visitors targeted in weekend car break-ins
EverythingLubbock.com previously reported officers were called to the 300 block of Cesar E. Chavez Drive around 8:18 a.m. on Tuesday, September 10, for reports of shots fired. Two people and a dog were found on the ground with gunshot wounds. Police said it was an isolated incident.
Multiple arrested following joint operation for illegal horse racing in Hockley County
Angel Aleman, 55, was found dead, along with his dog named Monster. Lydia Hernandez, 47, was rushed to the hospital by EMS, where she was pronounced deceased.
