Capra Bank has broken ground and announced an opening timeline for its permanent location in south Lubbock.
The new location, 12115 Slide Road, is expected to open in late 2025.

“We chose a location in Lubbock that is a central corridor for the city and developing rapidly as the town expands towards the southwest,” Greg Garland, bank president, said in a news release Thursday. “The new location will offer added convenience and accessibility to our customers with features like a drive-through, ATM, and night drop receptacle.”
As construction continues, customers can visit the temporary location at 7710 Milwaukee Ave., Suite 400.
