LUBBOCK, Texas — Landen Rangel-Segovia, 20, was arrested by Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Sunday, October 6 outside of a Lubbock strip club, according to court records obtained by EverythingLubbock.com on Monday.
Rangel-Segovia was kicked out of the venue and showed obvious signs of intoxication, court records said. Deputies from the LCSO attempted to arrest Rangel-Segovia but he began to resist their attempts.

Court records said Rangel-Segovia braced himself on top of a deputy, striking him with a closed fist on the right side of his face. Another deputy attempted to use a taser on Rangel-Segovia which had no effect. Court records said Rangel-Segovia finally surrendered after a drive stun was used on him.
During a search, Rangel-Segovia grabbed a deputy’s “testicles and refused to let go.”
A clear plastic baggie, which tested positive for cocaine, was found in Rangel-Segovia’s front pocket. It was later determined that Rangel-Segovia attempted to discard the white powder in the backseat of the deputy’s vehicle. A debit card that did not belong to Rangel-Segovia was found in his back pocket, according to court records.
