The event offers donors and survivors in the community an opportunity to support survivors’ journeys toward healing and independence.

The event included axe throwing, tattoos, painting, and making your bath salts.

“All that reflects things in the program that they enjoy doing, how they create new memories or just therapeutic for them,” said One Voice CEO, Dacia Hamby. “Therapy doesn’t always have to be sitting in a counselor’s office, It can be throwing axes, it can be laughing together, we wanted our programs to come alive.

The gala also featured a live and silent auction. Hamby said all the funds go directly to resources to help survivors in their programs start all over.
