It wasn’t that long ago that Lubbock had two Denny’s locations. When I was a kid there was a restaurant that we loved going to for breakfast called “Sambos”. Sambos was possibly the most racist restaurant concept ever, and I’ll just leave it at that. The point is, times change, tastes change, and restaurants have to change with the times. Then there’s the fact that there is increased competition and it can be very hard to keep a restaurant chain afloat.
