LUBBOCK, Texas — An Asian fusion restaurant, Chop Chop, located at 7320 Milwaukee Avenue, closed its doors, leaving one Chop Chop location remaining in Lubbock.
A sign on the door of the business read “This location is permanently closed.”
“We’ve enjoyed the space at the Hub on Milwaukee for over 10 years and our lease is expiring, so we decided to close that location so we could focus all of our efforts on making the 5707 4th location the best it can be… And there is more in the works,” said David Terry with Chop Chop.
This closure comes after Chop Chop on 82nd Street and Indiana closed in June to “strengthen its other locations” in Lubbock.

The restaurant said it looks forward to serving the Lubbock community for many years to come.
Chop Chop’s remaining location can be found at 5707 4th Street.
