HIGHLIGHTS: Rambelles win at home with a sweep, now 9-1 in Conference play

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) Angelo State Volleyball hosted Lubbock Christian for Homecoming and youth sports day at the Junell Center. And the Rambelles would win at home with a sweep, now 9-1 in Conference play.

As dominate as the Belles were on the offensive end, the defensive performance also stood out Saturday. The Belles had 14 blocks, the second most in a 3 set match this season in the LSC this season. Demi Carter lead ASU in blocks with 8, tied for the most by ASU for one player in a 3 set match. Other notable performances this match included Sydney Thornton committing zero errors on 9 swings hitting for .667. Evelyn Torres and Madi Parrish both had 12 kills and Adilene Ortman adds yet another double double to her season with 33 assists and 14 digs.

Angelo State Volleyball is officially 19-2 on the season, 9-1 in Conference play and are back on the road next weekend with 2 matches before playing their final 4 games at home.
