Roughly 30 vehicles were broken into between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning. Austin Hatherley said, from his understanding, the vehicles were parked at the C1 Jones AT&T Stadium parking lots, areas across Marsha Sharp freeway near University Avenue and some student-living apartments.
Police said they waited in the parking lots until the affected individuals arrived to file a police report. The Daily Toreador has reached out to the Texas Tech and Lubbock police departments, and will release information as it is received.
