LUBBOCK, Texas — Michael Wayne Christman, 65, was arrested on a stalking charge on Thursday.
A Probable Cause affidavit detailed the Lubbock Police Department (LPD) was called to a residence and advised it had been shot at 20 minutes prior. An officer found “a projectile on the fence between the door and the street” and “two additional holes in the fence and one impact into the glass door and a second in the door frame.”

A victim told police she believed Christman was responsible. LPD waited at Christman’s residence for him, but then received a call for service somewhere else where Christman was observed to be present. According to the PC affidavit, he fled before officers arrived but was located at his residence later anyway. Officers found a .22 caliber pellet gun in the back seat of Christman’s car.
