WOLFFORTH, Texas– Residents of Wolfforth have been complaining about a mysterious, foul odor drifting through the air. Some claim it smells like raw sewage. My brother said it smells like “straight-up booty hole.”
The smell hasn’t made it to Lubbock, thank goodness. I’ve completely avoided the funk happening in that town.
Randy Criswell, Wolfforth city manager, says the wastewater treatment facility on FM 179 is responsible for the stank. While that is likely true, I’ve got a few alternative ideas you might find amusing…..
