LUBBOCK, Texas– A Lubbock mother is grieving the unexpected loss of her 18-year-old daughter, Kimara Baker, after she passed away from suicide on Wednesday, March 19.
Kia Baker told EverythingLubbock.com she wished someone had checked on her daughter when she was in the bathroom of the establishment before it was too late.
“When they heard her screaming someone should have done a welfare check,” Kia said. She continued to express how it wouldn’t have hurt to just ask, “Hey are you okay.”
