Authorities in Texas are investigating the shooting death of a 4-year-old boy that occurred while his family watched in horror. Following the incident, a man present in the home at the time of the shooting led police on a foot chase before being apprehended and taken into custody, according to local authorities.
Authorities said Jrako Castillo was fatally shot in the doorway of his home just after 5 p.m. on Wednesday. Officers from the Lubbock Police Department were called to the boy’s residence in the 2900 block of E. Bates St. in response to what was initially reported as a disturbance, which escalated to reports of shots fired.
