Texas Might Not Need Daylight Saving Time Bill After All

Texas lawmakers have been pushing for a time change for a while.  Every time the clock springs forward or falls back it wreaks havoc on Texans.  It takes at least 7 days to recover from the time change each time.

Time change makes for tired grumpy adults and children.

It’s an ongoing debate, some believe it is, while others say it is not.  It’s not black and white and the changing of the clocks has a very large gray area.

Texas has been trying to get rid of Daylight Saving Time for years now, and it always seems to stall in either the House or Senate and never is passed.  The latest bill that has been introduced is SB 64 .

Daylight Saving Time was instituted in 1918

It was a wartime effort to extend the workday in order to conserve fuel and power.
