Lubbock, TX – A cold front sweeping across West Texas is bringing cooler temperatures and the threat of thunderstorms to Lubbock and surrounding areas tonight.
According to the National Weather Service Lubbock, temperatures are expected to fall sharply overnight, with lows ranging from the upper 30s in Friona to near 60°F in Aspermont. Lubbock itself is forecast to drop to 53°F by early Saturday morning, while Friona may reach a low of 37°F.
