Ravens are large, beautiful, intelligent, and impressive birds. They can vocalize, solve problems, craft tools, and more.

According to the Smithsonian National Zoo, ravens prefer wooded areas but can live almost anywhere because they are opportunistic feeders and smart enough to make a go of it in nearly environment.

The raven’s range includes the area near Lake Alan Henry (about 65 miles Southeast of Lubbock), where Sunny the Raven was found with a severely injured wing.

A Good Samaritan Does The Most In Lubbock

Upon discovering the raven with a seriously injured wing, the kind-hearted person who rescued her spent five hours safely capturing her and delivering her to the South Plains Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, where she is currently receiving treatment.
