LUBBOCK, Texas — South Plains College culinary arts student Shiretta Williams hosted a special event called Celebrating and Remembering Heavenly Mothers at SPC’s Lubbock Career and Technical Center.
Williams baked 66 free mini cakes for the event for the first 66 attendees, in honor of her late mother Opal Williams, who would have been 66 this year.
