LUBBOCK, TX — A man eluded SWAT and the gang unit Tuesday night after a breach of a house where a suspect was barricaded failed to find the man. A heavy police and SWAT presence was seen Tuesday night in the 5900 block of 71st Street, next to the intersection of 71st and Grover Avenue. Reports are the incident began as a foot chase after the suspect, driving a blue Chevy, refused to pull over for a traffic stop. He led police on a chase to the house on 71st Street and was able to barricade himself in the house before police could catch him. That’s when the stand-off began. Learn More Here…
