LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – It’s going to be another hot day across the South Plains today. Temperatures expected to climb into the mid to upper 90s by mid afternoon, with isolated thunderstorms possible this afternoon.
Thursday morning winds will be light and a gradual increase in humidity. A front is slowly moving through our region today and temperatures will be warmer than what we experienced yesterday.
This afternoon highs will reach the mid to upper 90s.
Storm chances will increase this afternoon thanks to a dryline near I-27 that may serve as a focus for thunderstorm development after 3pm.
