Seed oil versus beef fat frying has been a topic of much discussion on the internet, as many are switching to the more “old school” use of tallow/lard in their cooking.
The rise in popularity of tallow has led some restaurants to embrace the practice, including chains like Steak N’ Shake.
Sadly, Lubbock now longer has a Steak N’ Shake, but I could see the right franchisee making it work, especially given that particular change…
