Police identify woman seriously hurt in South Lubbock crash

LUBBOCK, Texas — The Lubbock Police Department identified the woman seriously hurt in a Wednesday crash as 37-year-old Lindy Layman.

LPD said officers were called to a crash at 114th Street and Miami Avenue at 2:56 p.m.

A press release said two SUVs were traveling east on 114th Street. LPD said at the same time, Layman was driving a passenger car and exited a driveway. Layman crashed into one SUV, which then struck a second SUV.
