LUBBOCK, Texas — The Lubbock Police Department said the Special Crimes Unit is investigating after a report of a dead body found in the 3400 block of 23rd Street on Thursday evening.
LPD said officers were called to the scene along with EMS at 5:55 p.m.
One dead in Lubbock house fire caused by cigarette
Police said one person was pronounced dead at the scene. LPD said this appeared to be an isolated incident, and there was no known threat to the public.
