LUBBOCK, Texas — Deshonn McDaniel, 31, was arrested in Lubbock on Tuesday on multiple theft charges, exploitation of a child, elderly or disabled individual and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to court documents obtained by EverythingLubbock.com on Friday, McDaniel was caught for stealing vehicles and selling them to people on at least 11 occasions.

Documents said that in November 2023, a victim reported to the Lubbock Police Department he had purchased a vehicle from McDaniel who never delivered him said vehicle. This situation happened with multiple other victims. They said they paid McDaniel for vehicles off of Facebook Marketplace, but he never delivered them and often dropped all contact with the victims.
