LUBBOCK, Texas-Lubbock RISE UP will host several events for Juneteenth 2025.
According to History.com, Juneteenth occurs on June 19 and commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. Lubbock RISE UP encouraged the public to come out and “rise together and celebrate Juneteenth.”
