The Lubbock Country Club has officially announced when it will move into the former Fresh American, and how this will impact members.
The club previously confirmed it would move the clubhouse to the former Fresh American, 3715 114th St. The current clubhouse, 3400 Mesa Road, will close on July 5. In mid-July, the clubhouse will reopen temporarily in the Fresh American, which will be renamed 1921 in honor of the club’s opening year, according to a news release. It will be open to only club members, their families and their guests.
“Golf and tennis facilities will remain open as we prioritize minimal disruption to our members and operations throughout the process,” said Omar Manriquez, the club’s general manager and chief operating officer. “The reinvestment our membership is making will ensure the sustainability of the club for years and years to come.”…
