LUBBOCK, Texas — On Saturday, June 14, local veterans organizations, led by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, will host a public Flag Day Ceremony at the American Windmill Museum, 1701 Canyon Lake Drive.
The event will begin at 12 p.m. and is open to the public, according to a press release.
“The flag of the United States is more than a piece of fabric,” said a VFW spokesperson. “It represents the unity of our nation and the sacrifices made by generations of Americans to preserve our freedoms. We hope the community will join us in honoring its legacy.”…
