LUBBOCK, Texas–Lubbock has seen a notable number of traffic crashes involving houses, buildings, and other structures in recent years, according to data retrieved from the Texas Department of Transportation’s Crash Records Information System (C.R.I.S.).

In 2024, there were 86 reported crashes involving a house, building, or structure in Lubbock. While this number may seem high, it represents only 1.3%of the 6,483 total crashes that occurred throughout the year.
