Nine arrested in Texoma, Lubbock for illegal gambling ring

ARCHER COUNTY (KFDX/KJTL) — Law enforcement officials across Texoma and in Lubbock arrested nine people Tuesday in connection with an illegal gambling and money laundering operation in Archer County.

On July 1, multiple law enforcement agencies executed three search warrants: one at a game room in Archer County on Highway 281, just south of the county line; another at an apartment off Maurine Street in Wichita Falls; and the last at a home in Lubbock.

Archer County Sheriff Jack Curd said $15,000 in cash, two vehicles, and 31 machines were confiscated between the three locations…
