LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Documents obtained by KCBD NewsChannel 11 shows more details on what led up to an investigation case into Cantu Towing.
On May 19, a woman was driving south on MLK Jr. Blvd when her car had a blowout. She stopped and parked the car legally in front of a business in the 1300 block of E. 37th St., according to an affidavit. She left it unlocked with the keys inside for her uncle, who agreed to pick it up and fix it.
After “several hours” her uncle went to get the car but it was no longer there. She called multiple towing companies, which all told her the vehicle was not in any storage lot…
