Texas DPS arrests suspect in West Texas Walmart theft ring

An investigation led by the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division has made an arrest in a major retail theft investigation across multiple Walmart stores in West Texas.

According to an arrest affidavit obtained by the Reporter-Telegram, a total of eight suspects were linked to thefts at Walmart centers in Levelland, Plainview, Lubbock, Odessa and Midland from 2021 through 2024. One of the suspects was identified as 29-year-old Kelli Nacole Sellers of Fluvanna.

Sellers was arrested at 11:15 a.m. Thursday at the Lubbock County Jail after a warrant was issued for her arrest. She has been charged with the second-degree felony of organized retail theft between $2,500 and $30,000.
