A 24-year-old man was sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to two violent home invasion robberies three years ago in north Lubbock.
Djinon Davis, who has been held at the Lubbock County Detention Center since February 2022, appeared July 2 in the 364th District Court and pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony that carries a punishment five years to life in prison.
For his second aggravated robbery charge he was placed on deferred adjudication community supervision for 10 years, which means the charge could be dismissed if he completes his term successfully but faces the full range of punishment if his community supervision is revoked…
