Fireworks calls down in Lubbock compared to last year, LPD says

LUBBOCK, Texas— The Fourth of July brought joy to the South Plains. Still, it also resulted in some disturbances due to fireworks calls, although not as many as the previous year, according to the Lubbock Police Department.
