While running Adobe Auto Sales from 2016 to 2024, Weston received reimbursement of $158,005.64 for Facebook advertising, court records stated. This money wasn’t paid directly by the company to Facebook. Instead, that amount of money would be paid directly out of a company bank account, not from an employee’s personal bank account who would then get reimbursed. In addition, court records said there were no receipts or other documents except for Weston’s word about what was received for these charges.

The page contained 14 years of customer data, advertising content, and valuable business history. deleting the account may have wiped out critical evidence. Weston was the only one with access to the Facebook account and deleted it without permission and without backing up the data, court records said.
