LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Mayor Mark McBrayer said he knows all about being a Lubbock resident. That’s why as mayor he said he wants to hear from his neighbors and community members on how to help fellow Lubbockites and the city.
“When you grow up here, you go to school here, your business is here, you raise your family here, your kids live here, your grandparents live here,” McBrayer said, “Lubbock really becomes a part of who you are and I can’t think of myself as anything other than a Lubbockite.”
As a former council member himself, a representative of District 3, McBrayer said he’s always had a vision for what Lubbock can be, but it takes a special group of people to make that come to fruition…
