Lubbock police to auction more than 100 impounded vehicles Saturday

LUBBOCK, Texas– The Lubbock Police Department will auction more than 100 impounded vehicles this weekend, ranging from crash-damaged sedans to trailers and SUVs.

The auction is set for Saturday at the city’s impound lot. Registration is free and will take place from 8 to 9 a.m., with bidding starting immediately afterward.

Lt. Brady Cross said 115 vehicles will be sold “as is,” all of them unclaimed after at least two months in the lot.
