Lubbock Meals on Wheels (LMOW) Pet Program
The program is for individuals already receiving help from LMOW but cannot afford to feed their pets.
Requirements:
- A person must be homebound or need assistance to leave home.
- A person must be unable to prepare a well-balanced meal each day.
- A person must not have anyone who is available to prepare meals for him or her during the day. (Exceptions may apply)
Helping Each other With Pet Food In Lubbock
A community Facebook group dedicated to helping pet owners in Lubbock find food through social media posts.
Lubbock Animal Services Helping Paws

The clinic takes walk-ins and appointments. For free or discounted care, pet owners must show photo ID and proof of participation in a government assistance program like CHIP, Medicaid, Public Housing, Section 8 or WIC.
