Morning lows will remain in the 60s and 70s. Monsoonal moisture will increase over the western portions of the KLBK forecast area, especially west of Highway 385. EXTENDED FORECAST:
Much of the same is expected around the region throughout the remainder of our extended forecast period across eastern New Mexico and western Texas! Highs will range in the 90s to low 100s Monday and Tuesday before cooling into the 80s and 90s behind a weak cold front on Wednesday and Thursday. I am keeping a close eye on late next week for a potentially stronger front that could cool us off even more by next weekend. We will keep a partly cloudy to mostly clear sky around the region each day, with winds shifting from the south to the east-northeast Tuesday into Wednesday. Sustained speeds of 10-20 MPH will continue. Morning lows will continue to bottom out in the 60s and 70s. Showers and storms will remain isolated in nature, most likely from the afternoon through early overnight hours each day.
