LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A group of Lubbock women are hoping to offer some warmth and comfort to those in need.
The group Big Mamas Hugs meets once a month in the basement of Saint Christopher’s Church.
Walking in you will see an variety of different fabrics, designs and ladies putting their quilting skills to good use.
Lisa Allen, who is in charge of the group, says these quilts are made not for themselves, but for kids who are going through tough times, who need a little bit of comfort and love…
