LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – After a stretch of hot, quiet weather, storm chances are back for the Southern Plains this weekend.
This is all thanks to a pulse of moisture drifting in from the southwest. That combined with the daytime heating and weak winds aloft, the atmosphere is primed for those pop-up afternoon and evening storms.
