LUBBOCK, Texas — A local group is organizing a youth conflict resolution seminar on Sunday. The event aims to reduce violence amongst youth in the community. In addition, it will offer free food and a backpack giveaway to those who attend.

The activities will begin at 1 p.m. and will run until 3 p.m. at the Lubbock Patterson Branch Library. Members of the local community are encouraged to attend and help prepare their children with skills to avoid violent conflicts as they return to school.
