Portillo’s, an Illinois restaurant chain known for its Chicago-style street food, is coming to West Texas with its first locations in El Paso and Lubbock later this year.
“We’re thrilled to continue bringing the Portillo’s experience of iconic, crave worthy food and friendly hospitality to more communities across Texas,” said Portillo’s CEO Michael Osanloo in a press release. “These upcoming openings mark an exciting step in sharing what makes Portillo’s special with even more guests throughout the state.”
In El Paso, Portillo’s will be located at the Montana Commons, at the corner of Montana Avenue and U.S. 375. The Portillo’s in Lubbock will be situated at Canyon West, Lubbock’s Premier 155-acre shopping, dining, and entertainment center near Texas Tech University…
